While lounging in the sun can be both relaxing and fun, it can wreak havoc on the skin without the proper sun protection. Even those who find themselves rarely in the outdoors or living in a climate that sees little sunshine need to apply daily sun protection to prevent damage. The sun can produce a number of different damaging effects on skin like dark spots, rough patches, thickening of the skin, fine lines and wrinkles, and even skin cancer. However, one should not purely rely on cosmetics for their sun protection. A moisturizer containing sunscreen can be used daily to both keep the skin hydrated and protect it from the sun's harmful rays.
